Florida Medical Marijuana

Florida Medical Marijuana is not easily accessible. To gain access to medical Cannabis, you must first register with a medical cannabis doctor. The doctor will be responsible for recording your data in the Florida States office of medical marijuana use registry. The information they enter specifies the medical marijuana types you have been prescribed, the number of days you prescription order will remain active as well as your treatment plan duration. The Florida medical marijuana registry does not allow physicians to exceed two orders at a time. Therefore, they can only order one for low-THC marijuana, and the second-order can be for any other type. Low THC cannabis contains little THC levels but higher healing CBD levels. Many medical cannabis products containing high THC levels need supervision and careful dosing to avoid psychoactive effects. The amount of CBD in each type of Cannabis will also vary and is considered carefully during your treatment evaluation.

Two methods per order can order Florida medical marijuana. Patients that benefit from topical and oral practices such as inhalation methods are available. Oral products include capsules, tinctures, syringes, and concentrations. Inhalation cannabis products would be administered by vaporizing cups and cartridges. After your medical examination, your physicians at Boca Pot Doc will help you select the best strain type, products to use, and dosing amount to give you the best results.

To qualify for a medical marijuana card, you must be a permanent Florida resident; you must have a physical medical condition that chronically produces symptoms. You also must have previously tried other treatments without success. Your physician at Boca Pot Doc will determine the risks of use Low THC cannabis in diagnosing and creating your treatment plan. Boca Pot Doc will also register the patient as a patient in the Compassionate Use Registry.

Florida also requires that you have a relationship with a physician who maintains a patient treatment plan outlining your dose, how medical Cannabis is to be administered, and the duration of your treatment plan. The physician is also responsible for monitoring your illness and tolerance towards low-THC Cannabis and submits your results to the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, during every quarter for research purposes.

It is also the responsibility of Boca Pot Doc to treat your condition for at least three months immediately preceding the recommendation for Low- THC cannabis. In some rare severe cases, people under the age of 18 years of age can receive medical Cannabis; however, a second physician must agree with the treatment plan for approval.

The Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act required the Department of Health was established to provide a tracking system that traces not only Low-THC Cannabis but also the medical cannabis seeds that are for sale in the State. The tracking system includes notification of when the cannabis seeds are planted when cannabis plants are harvested, transported, sold, stolen, or lost. Florida state law requires dispensaries cannot dispense low-THC or medical cannabis delivery from their premises between the hours of 9 pm to 7 am. There are currently only six approved dispensaries with authorization from the Florida Department of Health to grow, harvest, and dispense Low-THC and Medical Cannabis. These six dispensaries are CHT Medical in Alachua County, The Green Solution in Alachua County, Trulieve in Gadsden County, Surterra Therapeutics in Hillsborough County, Modern Health Concepts in Miami-Dada County and Knox Medical in Orange County.
